Master in Education with a Specialization in Teacher Education for Elementary Licensure
The Teacher Education specializations offered by University of Phoenix develop Elementary or Secondary teachers who, as an important part of the school community, facilitate the development of students to become productive citizens in a changing society.
The new Masters of Arts in Education/Teacher Education Programs for elementary and secondary teacher certification are 33-credit Master’s Degree (MAED) programs, preparatory to a teacher licensure. The program recognizes and addresses the developmental process of teaching and learning in a diverse society.
Due to current regional policies, the Teacher Education specialization is not available to residents in Canada and the U.S. states Delaware, Indiana, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Arkansas.
