Doctor in Education
Walden's Doctor in Education degree program is specially designed of K-12 teachers, educators and administrators who desire to continue teaching while assuming education related leadership roles in their school and local community. This degree emphasizes the "teacher as leader" concept and empowers experienced master educators to motivate change and improve student learning. Course work has been developed around the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium and the National Staff Development Council education standards. This program offers a concentration in teacher leadership.
